The whole trimmer is weak and pretty easy to break. The blade runner removes too easy, so I have to watch it and work very carefully with it. It trims two pieces of office paper maximum.
The trimmer does trim the paper, but in its own way. It might be good for the projects where you leave paper slightly ripped looking.
(My piece might came already broken).
