Yes that is correct, I got bit by the Cricut. Like most bugs I tried to avoid it for a very long time, I researched and read everything I could about the little critter. I used to go to its website every day to read what the humans were saying about it....
I already had 2 die cutters, both really fine. They weren't bugs and very red. So why on earth would I "need" another?
The little scrappers out there were raving, they were wild about the Cricut they were selling off everything all for the Cricut. I was so unsure but took the big plunge and bought one of these amazing bugs. It exceeded my wildest dream. It cut clean, it had amazing features. I simply type in what I want, what size, set the dials and I cannot help but sit and watch the magic begin.
Any negative thing I read is long forgotten now that I have my bug. I can do anything in scrapbooking I want...nothing holds me back. I get titillated when I buy another cartridge or as they call them in the craft CARTS.
So yes, I have been delightfully bitten & loving every second of it!

This is absolutely the best item I have ever had for scrapbooking! It has become something I cannot live without! I love the different features on the cartridges, and couldn't live without the software now that I have that.
The only issue I think I ever have is that I use it too much and my mats get used a lot, so I replace them often.
I would recomend this to any scrapper, new or pro! It is easy to use and there are endless possibilities to what you could do with it.
If you are someone who does a lot of craft projects outside of scrapping, (ie with kids school porjects and so on) I might recomend getting the large machine. It is nice to be able to cute the larger items. For me it wasn't really worth the extra money because I wouldn't use it that much.
The cartridges have a great variety of items, but they are a bit pricey, so pace yourself on buying those!!

I'm what you might call a budget scrapbooker. I would rather spend money on tools that let me make many embellies rather than spend money on stickers and such. I had been researching Cricut for some time. I already have quite an extensive collection of another die cut machine. I had spent a lot of money on each of the dies (that were only one size). I'm a very lucky girl!! My Dear Father In Law knows that I LOVE to scrapbook. We both have a love for shopping and he's usually my shopping buddy. We usually include one of the local scrapbooking stores in our trips. And I have his box of pictures that I've been scrapping so he bought me one. I love the way my letters can be small, medium or huge!! I haven't bought any other cartridges because I'm still using all the different features. I'm amazed that one cartridge can do so many things. Between the different sizes, the fonts can be cut in oval tag shape, in a sign shape, shadow and outline. The different features also applies to the shapes too! Don't get me wrong, I've scoped out the other cartridges and have a few on my wish list.

The Cricut is the most amazing die cutting machine that has single handly taken the scrapbooking industry to the next level. No more getting fustrated because you can't find the right embelllishment or letter font for a layout!!! Wiith the right cartridge you can cut out your own using the colors and papers that you want. It is easy to use so you will make your titles and embellishments right out of the box!!
Yes, I will say that the Cricut is pricey but you will get hours of enjoyment out of it and will save you time and fustration in creating your perfectly wonderfully layout. Once you have the Cricut, you will not imagine how you lived without it! Also, once you get the Cricut, either the baby Cricut or Expression, you will be happy to know that all the cartridges will work on either machine. The cartridges that Cricut has out now are amazing and I love them all.
Recomment the Cricut to my friends, oh yes!! I have recommended this to total strangers that I meet in scrapbooking and craft stores.

I love this little machine! I had wanted it for a while and it was actually purchased for me as a gift. However, once I had it, I was trepeditious about using it. I tried it out once or twice, but didn't really do anything else with it until I had a friend ask me how to use hers. Once I did that and we tried several different things and cartridges, I busted mine out and went to town and haven't looked back!
Since I've started using it again, I have used it for lo's, cards, signs, tags, and much more! I've done projects for a couple of co-workers which turned out fantastic too.
I also love the fact that you don't need the computer to use it. That was a big thing for me when I was looking into die-cut machines. I'm not computer savvy in the least when it comes to using it to scrap, so I wanted something that didn't require it to be hooked to the comupter and I couldn't be happier.
This is definately one to think about if you're looking into getting a die-cutter.
This amazing machine can do so many things-it will truly knock your socks off. I am not great with computers, or complicated tools-but this machine was so easy to use, I was able to plug it in, insert the blade (all by my little self) and use it right out of the box! I cannot imagine another tool that can do so many things. Each cartridge offers TONS of different ideas, and makes each layout so unique!
Truly, the only thing that has topped this machine for me is the Cricut expressions! Both machines are wonderful (the expressions machine does 12x12 or 12x24" things which I use a lot of)! They both do basically the same thing-so if you can't afford the expressions, it's no big deal-this great Provo craft personal electric cutter will do the same thing for you! Don't be scared to spend the money on it-you will NEVER regret it for even one minute!
Yes this is true I finally caught the bug! As a college student that just does scrapbooking and paper crafting as a hobby I put buying this product off for quite awhile. I looked at reviews, looked as less expensive die-cut machines and none that I found measured up to the Cricut. I started watching infomercials about it, started hitting up the website and did alot of thinking. One day it dawned on me! I am going into Early Childhood Education, most centers require scrapbooks to be kept and this would be amazing to make bulliten boards, name tags for cubbies and chairs and my mom passed along that any supplies I buy for it would be tax deductible so I took my college graduation money and got one. I opened the box set it up and made 5 cards and 4 layouts that same day!!! I love it!! Can't wait to save up money for more carts.!!!!

i love my cricut , this is the first one i ever bought, kept looking at them and starting watching the craft shows that displayed the cricut. bought mine over a year ago when they first came out and starte withtwo carts.
have used this over and over again have tons of cards,and used on my scrap pages, saves a lot of money buying sticker and embie. because you can cut them out ,color them in anyway you want to. for cards and displays.
have done sone small gift packages with the flowers, and stars,animals to dress up themes for birthday. . and for my grandchildren for school .
they love it also. my dgd uses it when she comes up to make cards and do her scrap pages.

When I was 16 I wanted to buy my first die-cutter. I was gonna buy something very big and red. Along with the bulky red thing, I would have to buy a board with a sharp cut-out on it- it would only cut that ONE die-cut in that ONE size.
I was so excited to buy something with my very first paycheck, ever, I was gonna go for it. But, my Dad had my back. He saw this digital machine in a glass case on a store display. He convienced me to save a few more paychecks and I had my very own Cricut :)
I have had this awesome little machine now for 3 years and I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's always new and changing with the cartridges that have TONS of die-cut options.
In short: I love my cricut and it's worth the investment because it will last for a while :)
At first, I wasn't willing to believe all the great things I was hearing about this little machine. I had tried a couple of other die cutting systems and found them less than amazing although they had cost me a pretty penny. So when I began to hear the buzz about this "Cricut" thing that could cut anything in any size while you sipped your lemonade, I was skeptical. But then I saw a live demo and my eyes opened wide as I imagined the possibilities. And the savings! Now I could use this one machine to cut letters, numbers, shapes, flourishes, charms, tags, bags, boxes, cards... in miniature or jumbo sizes!!! It was like a whole new world! I might have been twice shy before I got my Cricut but now that I've been bitten by the bug, I'll never look back!
