a little dissappointed
The initial quality of this punch was pretty good, but after a bit of use I'm a little dissappointed. First, the puch is pretty small--the width of the edge is pretty good (about 1/2 inch?), but it's only about 2 inches long, which means it takes foreeeevvvveeeerrrrr to finish some projects. You also have to press very hard to get it to go through medium weight card stock. Finally, the plastic housing surrounding the punch is big, so getting the pattern to line up, especially on small projects (like my 3" places cards for my wedding), is difficult. I have had to redo many of my cards.
After about 50 or so puches, it's beginning to bind and get stuck down. I've had to bang it against the table or take it apart to get my paper out.
The result is a clean attractive punch when it's lined up correctly, but I'm beginning to get frustrated with it. The next punch I buy I will probably try another brand. I'm dissappointed from such a respected brand name as Fiskars.
