Gelatos? No, not Italian ice cream, but rather acid-free pigment sticks named after your favorite gelato flavors. Gelatos glide on creamy vibrant color and blend beautifully. They work on dark papers, as well as on smooth and textured surfaces, including flocked paper and canvas. This set includes 28 Gelatos colors, a waterbrush, and four blending tools. Techniques include stamping, misting, blending, layering, mixed media and painting.
Gelatos are one of my favorite mixed media tools. They do a little bit of everything. I can mix them with other mediums to get the perfect color. Or I can use them alone for vibrant colors. I can also use water to get many other effects. The best thing about this set is its size. I have searched several different stores and have not found a set this big or this cheap. The Gelatos are also the large type.
I highly recommend this set and know you will be pleased with it.

I've never had these before and they are delightful to use. They are creamy when using as well as move easily around your art project if you decide not to use water. The color is very vibrant. All in all, I highly recommend them!
I really like how the Gelatos are packaged in it's own storage drawer. no need to go looking for them as there is a place
for every color as well as your tools. Love the beautiful vibrant Gelato colors most of all. Great product.
I have had so much fun with this product. I watched the classes on how to use gelatos on Scrapbook.com and she gives great instructions. Love this product.
Gelato are the best! You can use them in stamping or water color for just starters. I bought this set to do Bible Journaling and on my first project I was completely amazed at how well they worked. Every craft room should have a supply!

I was looking to fill in some colors with small sets, but I cannot find anywhere what colors are in this set. The tubes don't tell you what they are unless you buy them individually. There are colors listed for the 33 pc set, but don't know if they are the same as in this one.

How are the gelatos once dry? Scrapbook safe? Do I need to finish any artwork made with them off with sealer of sorts?

Gelatos are supposed to be permanent once dry but I have seen some transfer with cards. For that reason, when I use them for scrapbooking or art journaling, I prefer to use a matte spray fixative.
