This Blending Palette with a color guide is from Tombow. This palette contains two sides. One side is a blender while the other side is a color guide. This Blending Palette is a tool designed to help you add dimension to your crafts and other projects. This palette is specially designed to blend Tombo Dual Brush Pens or other water-based inks (all sold separately). Simply place your inks on the blending palette side, press your paper to the colored area, and release. Any residual ink can be cleaned off with a wet cloth or paper towel.
I loved the idea of the chart being paired with a palette but was disappointed in two things... the palette is too flexible, I feel it would be more user friendly as a palette if it had a more ridged laminate. Secondly the UPC sticker on the back is the type that tears rather than peels off... I know I'll get it off but it was an unnecessary irritant. For the cost I feel I could have made myself something with which I would have been happier.
The UPC label on the corner of the blending palette does not peel off easily. Rather it tears, leaving a sticky mess directly on the product. Not cool.
I really like this palette and color guide. It’s small and fits well in my travel craft bag. It is also easy to wipe clean after use.
