This four piece clear photopolymer stamp set, Autumn Sunshine, is from Penny Black. This stamp set features a spray of sunflowers, an oak branch with acorns, a branch with leaves, and four pumpkins in a bed of leaves. These stamps will adhere to acrylic blocks and can be used with your favorite inks, markers, embossing powders, watercolors, colored pencils, and other crafting mediums (sold separately). These stamps can be used on cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journals, planners and other paper crafting and mixed media projects. These stamps are made in the USA.
The stamps are lovely and can be strategically used for other occasions than just fall, but I find a few problems here and there with the stamps themselves not giving sharp and precise images. I’ve washed, used an erasure, and rubbed my fingers over them to be sure any manufacturing residue has been removed. I’m using a new Misti and even a new Memento ink pad, all to no avail. A different stamp set under the exact same conditions stamps beautifully, so I have eliminated any possible interferences. No, unfortunately it’s these particular stamps. It’s unfortunate because the pumpkins were to be my Thanksgiving cards this year.
This is a very pretty stamp set and the images are a real nice size, which would do well with most any sized card, or decoration. I'm very happy with this purchase. The images are very well-done. The two smaller images of the acorns and Chinese lanterns, I think they are (Could be Japanese lanterns--don't actually recall which.), would go well with the flowers and the acorns. IMO the pumpkins are stand-alone due to the sizes of the images. For me it's like having two stamp sets in one and I like that. The whole design is screaming FALL, but the flowers could be used in anything that needs flowers. There is a lot of versatility in this stamp set and I really like versatile.
