This 5 piece die set is from the Home For Christmas Collection from Penny Black. This set includes 5 Stitched Frames of various sizes, the whole set measures 5.5" x 4.25". These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). This set can be used along with all the stamp sets and the Premium Cardstock Packs (sold separately) in the Home For Christmas Collection for creative, beautiful cards that are relatively easy to create. These dies are made in the USA.
These dies have the embossing on the outside of the cut so you must precut your size to complete the frame. Truly a frame die and NOT like the Penny Black Stacker dies. I should have looked closer since this isn’t really what I was wanting. I would much rather cut both sides on a frame at the same time. The recommendation is conditional on someone wanting to do extra steps…
I am so happy with this die set. The design is real pretty. It is almost a chain-like design, with the corner designs giving the chain design a break. The designs on the corners of four of the frames look like stylized hearts, to me. (I just noticed that while looking at the frame die set. I don't know why my eyes see such things, but they do. It's my mother's doing--when I was little, she and I would look at the clouds and pick out shapes that looked like something. It's why I see things in wood grains and I have a little tabby cat who is a striped dark tabby. There is usually an "M" on tabbies' foreheads, but Jasmine has the face and ears of a zebra on her forehead and down her muzzle. I can even see the eyes of the zebra. I thank my mom for piquing my imagination so early in my life.)
