This Butterflies hot foil plate from Pinkfresh Studio is going to help you create gorgeous, one-of-a-kind paper crafts. This hot foil plate coordinates with the Butterflies layering stencil set, stamp set and die (sold separately). This hot foil plate includes 2 butterflies, one a full view and one a side view. This plate is compatible with leading hot foil systems (sold separately). This plate has a number of uses, once foiled it can be colored with your favorite watercolors, alcohol markers, colored pencils, and other crafting mediums (sold separately). This plate can also be ink blended using the layering stencils (sold separately) for many different coloring options. The butterflies can then be cut out and placed onto all your paper crafting projects using the die set (sold separately). This hot foil plate measures 4" x 5.75".

No. Our hot foil plates are intended for letterpress style foiling machines, like the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System or the Crafter's Companion FoilPress.

How does the hot foil dies work? Could I use them like regular die cuts?

This is a hot foil plate, which is intended for use in a hot foil system like the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System or the Crafter's Companion Gemini Jr. FoilPress. It can be used to make a dry impression to cardstock as well. This is not a die, but it does have a coordinating die that is sold separately.
