How to Use These Stencils:

• Choose the material or surface you want to stencil. 
• Pick the medium you want to work with (sold separately). 
• Hold your stencil in place with your hands, some low-tack tape, or repositionable adhesive (all sold separately).  
• Use a crafting tool such as a dauber, sponge, blender brush, brayer, palette knife, spatula, sprayer, or other tools (all sold separately) depending on your medium, and gently cover the areas you want to be stenciled. 
• Once fully covered, carefully remove the stencils, making sure not to touch or smudge the design. 
• Allow your design to dry or set. 
• Clean off your stencil immediately so you can continue to use it without any debris getting in the crevices. 

How to Clean Your Stencils: 

• Clean your stencils immediately after use to avoid set-in stains so other materials do not get dried on or caked on. 
• The water-based products are easier to clean, simply use warm water and mild dish soap to rinse the stencil. 
• For tougher mediums, use some household hand sanitizer and a soft bristle brush, like a toothbrush, to remove any stuck-on particles. 
• Always wipe or scrub in one direction to avoid bending the stencils. 
• Always lay your stencils flat to clean and dry so the stencils do not warp and the intricate patterns do not get damaged. 
• Some stencils will stain, but they can still be reused without a problem.
