For all the mini slimline card lovers, this Mini Envelope Die set is part of the Essentials Collection from Pinkfresh Studio. This die will create mini envelopes and the finished envelope measures 3.5" x 6.5". This die is going to be a great addition to your die collection. These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). You will be able to make envelopes out of not just white and solid cardstocks, but patterned papers as well to either mail or hand deliver. Another definite win/win situation for all crafters.
I usually make an A2 size card, but wanted the occasional mini slimline, but did not want to purchase and store envelopes. This die cuts well, the envelope is easy to put together, I did find i had to be careful I folded on the score line, it was faint. I used liquid glue to put it together, I used copy paper and mailed it, recipient said it was fine on arrival.

Do mini-slimline envelopes fit standard US postal size or do they require additional postage?

They do not require extra postage based on their size and shape. You would only need extra postage based on the thickness of the card you are sending, or if it has non-machinable items on it like a thick embellishment or pointy jewel.
