I have been searching for a perfect gray, not brownish gray. I have finally found it. Cubes are easy to store and these make it so easy for layering stamped images.
These inks dry very smooth and evenly. They range from a very light gray to a dark, not quite black.
I really wanted to love these Pinkfresh ink cubes but the pads were on the dry side. I do not have any re-inkers so that will be an expense to me a lot sooner then anticipated. Stamping from pad to paper showed that the pads were dry and I tried them with stamping, using a well loved stamp and the first impression gave a blotchy, unsaturated and unclear image that has to be stamped over at least a few times to get a fully saturated image. This is unacceptable as these ink cubes are brand new and never been used before. The Pinkfresh colors are so beautiful but they really should make sure that they check their quality control for a more saturated ink pad.
I was so looking forward to receiving this item. I love the colors but when I tried it, the stamp looked spotty. I tried it with several clear stamps but the result was the same. I would not recommend this product.
