This 10 piece thin metal die set, Winter Mug, is designed by Rachel Place for Pretty Pink Posh. This versatile die set features a mug, a snowflake, a leaf, a holly leaf and berry, a candy cane, a marshmallow, a ghost, and a hot chocolate layer for the mug. These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). These dies can be used for cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journals, and other paper crafting projects. The mug measures 2.875", the snowflake measures 1.1875", the candy cane measures 2.5" tall, and the ghost measures 1.375" tall. This die set is made in the USA.
I like this die set very much. I like mugs for Christmas cards, especially if they have marshmallow dies and peppermint sticks and that oval to show if there is coffee, or hot chocolate in the mug. Love snowflakes and holly. I do NOT understand why there's a ghost in this set, but it's kind of cute and can be put in another set for halloween, maybe, if it fits in with the other dies I'm real happy with this die set.
This die set needs to be cut apart, but that doesn't bother me to do that because you cut the dies apart one time and it's over with. I mention this aspect because some people are not happy to have to cut them apart. You need a little pair of flush-cut nippers and be sure to put the dies into the garbage bag to cut them apart because the pieces that you need to cut off of the dies will fly all over and you could put safety goggles on to protect your eyes and you need to make sure there are no kids standing around to watch you. Sounds complicated, but it really isn't once you get used to it.
