I've used Mod Podge and Liquitex gel medium and thought this was going to be the same so what's all the hooplah about, ...BUT when I used this multi-medium, it was smooth and creamy going on, and its smooth when it drys and doesn't leave my art journal pages all thick and stiff.
When I try to write over the liquitex gel medium it was rough and my pens would catch and leave marks, but not with this, this is so smooth and flexible. It's the best, I absolutely love this stuff!!
I bought this after view video of Tim Holtz's Configurations. It's the perfect adhesive. Blends out smooth with a brush, the paper doesn't ripple. It leaves a beautiful and professional finished product. Scrapbook.com is the only place I can find it and well worth the ordering to have in my stash!! Perfection!
For some reason I was able to order only one of this item. I do not live near a store that carries this item and like to do online orders for my scrapbooking. I would have liked to have ordered atleast 3 of these at a time but find it will not let me order more than one at a time. I would like to save on shipping rather than place more orders. I have considered looking around to see what other vendor might carry this item and will let me order more than one at a time. Thanks
This product is a great addition to anyone who needs extra protection on your scrapbook pages, cards, fussy cut elements etc. Applied with brush ,fingers or sponge this product goes on smoothly and quickly dries. It does add a layer of protection to any project that would get lots of use, as in mini albums, cards or whatnot. Matte dries without a glaring gloss but does give a rather beautiful sheen. It really does add a little extra special touch to all those beautiful paper wonders.
I wanted to try this product because I have seen several projects done using it. It is very smooth and since a little goes a long way this jar will probably last me a long time. It dries to a clear, matte finish and is not sticky when dry. I'm using it to reinforce some small paper embellishments and score lines on card stock. I've read it can also be used as a glue but I haven't tried that application yet.
I use this for everything - laminating, gluing chipboard, all sorts of things. It's fantastic!
These Claudine Hellmuth mediums are wonderful. I love the gloss and the matte. They are easy to stamp with Staz-On ink. Please try out these products.
I haven't used this product yet but again I'm counting on the word of Tim Holtz who I've seen use this and whose products just blow my mind.
Until I got my my first jar of the Multi-medium, I love this stuff! And will never go back, it is easy to use and dries quickly.
this product will glue anything -and it is completely clear when dry - love it
