How To Use Glossy Accents:
Once you use this unbelievable dimensional medium, you'll want to add a subtle shine to every single one of your projects. Can't get enough Glossy Accents? Then you'll want to pick up the 2-ounce bottle right here!
Love this product and have used it for years. I love this size too. I have had to throw out several large bottles because they were prehistoric. It takes such a small amount to make a big impact. Yesterday used it on the eyes and nose of a stamped cow on a greeting card.....it just pulls it together and makes the card.
Glossy Accents are just a must have in paper crafting. This can be used for glossing up your die cuts for added dimension and shine, making rain drops or used as an adhesive. This is definitely my go to product for all of the above and so much more. I also like to use it on top of some Wink of Stella. Ba-Bling!
This little bottle may be tiny but it does so much. I love the small size to take along or keep stashed around the house. It does so much more than ever imagined.
Love the size of the smaller bottle, it doesn't dry out so quickly over time at my higher elevation and its greater for all projects. I enjoy using it on eyes, balloons, stars, etc to add that extra dimension and gloss.
Used in this project: Dad's 55th Birthday Card
I probably would not have thought to purchase this as I always have on hand the regular size bottle of Glossy Accents. However, since I received this as a gift (thanks Scrapbook.com) I have found myself reaching for it again and again. It is perfect for working on smaller embellishment pieces, intricate die-cut pieces, edging to add embossing glazes ( you HAVE to try embossing glazes!!) etc. Easier to control the amount and less difficult to squeeze ( a blessing if you have arthritic hands). Thanks Ranger Ink for this handy dandy little tool!
This product is really versatile! It can be used as a glue, or it can be used on anything that you want to make glossy. It's also great as a sealer! Love this product!
This glossy accents is great when it flows out of the bottle. I finally had to soak it hot water before I use it.....the only way it comes out. Also, I suggest having a pin handy, it also helps for a short period of time.
Would love another product that doesn't need such special attention.
I'm not much of a scrapbooker, but I do a wide variety of crafting projects. I just used this on a custom My Little Pony to create little water drips on her, as if she just stepped out of the ocean. I also made little goggles for her with 2 buttons that, when flipped over, looked like shallow dishes. I covered the holes from the back with paper and filled them with the Glossy accents to create the effect of glass. They look great!
I can't wait to experiment with this stuff more and see what other cool techniques and effects I can discover with this stuff.
I am still learning all the ways to use this product but I love it so far. I stamped a heart and used it to fill the heart in so it could be shiny like an enamel sticker almost. It does take a little bit of practice to get the top smooth but anything worth doing takes time. ;)
I have a bee stamp that I had embossed and colored with watercolors, then I used the Glossy Accents to fill in the wings. I loved the affect! It gave dimension without making the image look too heavy. I look forward to experimenting further with it!
