While I love Liquid Pearls, I was disappointed in the color. The name "Ruby Red" is misleading; it is more a really bright pink. I wanted it for holly berries as a Christmas Red, but this is not that color.
I've been wanting Liquid Pearls for such a long time. I saw them on a tutorial almost a year ago and had my family back in the states in search of this exact time. As soon as I was notified that Scrapbook.com had these in stock, I bought one in every color. It's as easy to use as Stickles and just as beautiful. The shimmer from the colors give it just what you need. I'm in love with Liquid Pearls - they give your project a touch of class and elegance. I also bought the caddy to keep my bottles organized and stored upside down so there are no air bubbles when I use it. For me, if there was a 10 star option, this item would get it!
I bought several colors of liquid pearl to fill my collection. They are all wonderful and at a good price.
I love the Liquid Pearls but this particular color is not ruby red, it's more like a pinkish-red watermelon color. Works like all the other ones though so 4 stars.
Used in this project: Retro Christmas
I've read somewhere by a reviewer that dimensional fabric paints work the same and are cheaper, so I tried them. Results were NOT the same: the fabric paints come out thicker and are not easily manipulated and also take forever to dry.
Liquid Pearls, on the other hand, really are easy to work with and create a pretty effect. I purchased several colors to accent flowers or branches, but the uses could be endless.
This product creates pretty ruby red coloured pearls and adds a colourful, romantic touch to any layout.
