this was my free gift - and I absolutely love it. Stamp off a couple of times on the basic image, and stamp directly from the ink pad on the layered top. You can create awesome images using only one color with the stamp off method. The only way to improve this would have been to include a nice long stem to complete the flower.
I must admit, when I first received this set, I was so disappointed that I ordered it. Being new to all this, I thought the base stamp, being it was smooth, was going to be a bummer. Well, let me tell you, it WASN'T! I got my inks out, (I didn't care what colors at this point). I used a pretty pink for the base, then a med-orange for the small (textured stamp). Not only did it turn out so very pretty in color choices, but the shading was awesome!;
By all means, whenever you can get these layered stamps, please feel comfortable in doing so!
I promise, you WILL NOT be disappointed!
I will definitely be buying more of these types. Also, I wanted to say, this stamp does a very nice job too. I used "Stamp abilities" and "Hampton Art" inks.the image came out very clean! Also, the best part, this stamp was free with purchase! ENJOY!
