This is possibly the nicest die I’ve gotten from Paper Rose yet, and that’s saying a lot. Cuts cleanly and makes a real statement for such a delicate trim. Did it in a deep Rose against a green background and it is spectacular! I cannot recommend this more highly.
I love the look of this die cut. I used black for the die cut and put it over a random water-colored design. It gave a beautiful stained glass look. It is very thin and delicate and I'm still working on the best way to adhere it, but the effect is really lovely.
My order arrived so quickly that I wasn’t even expecting it yet! This die is beautiful. I cut it from white card stock, popped it on top of an alcohol ink panel and placed it on a card base and it was done! Absolutely gorgeous!
This is a beautiful die.
I am an experienced die user, making 100 - 150 cards per month for charity. I own a top notch die cutting machine and I think I know most of the tricks on how to cut intricate dies.
However, to get a clean cut, I have to run it through my Big Shot multiple times (3-4), use wax paper AND shims and I still spend a half an hour or more cutting out the fine details with an Xacto knife. When I am done tediously cutting it out, I spend even more time cleaning up all the frayed and mangled edges that still haven't come out well.
I own four very pretty Paper Rose dies, two borders and two sentiments. I am sorry to have purchased three out of the four of them, all for the same reason - poor cutting.
I am sorry to say, as pretty as it is, I would not recommend this die. I will also think twice before I purchase another Paper Rose die.
This die is just beautiful. The lines are so fine it really shows off the design delicately. I am just learning to work with alcohol inks and I backed it with inked acetate. It looks like a stained glass window on my card.
I made the most beautiful card with this die. I love the blossoms design and the die cut easily.
This is a delicate-looking die, but it is very sturdy, which I like very much. I like the blossoms and buds and also like the outside, stitched strips. To me, this seems like die has an Asian Flair to it and I like Asian designs.
The die would work well on a slimline card if one wanted to use this die on it.
I'm very happy with this purchase.
