Kate's Quilt Block also gives you a unique pattern for a quilt. This 1 piece thin metal die is from Paper Rose. This die can be cut 4 times to fill a standard sized card or 3 times to fill a slimline card. These quilt blocks can be one color or they can be made from multiple patterns. Whichever way you choose, this pattern will give you many options for beautiful cards and even more options when it is paired with other patterns from this collection (sold separately). This die measures 2.88" x 2.88" and is compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately).
This die is wonderful because all the shapes are the same. There is no need to keep track of which piece goes in which spot because they are interchangeable. I like to use one solid color for the outline and 4 different (solids or patterns) for the inside, but it could certainly be used with smaller scraps. The die cuts easily on the first pass through my die cutter. This size die works well on an A2 size card.
As a quilter and a card maker, it is fun to combine the two art forms.
I was able to use this 'quilt' die with patterned paper scraps I had left over from a 12x12 pad. 5 pieces made 5 distinct, lovely cards. I'm pleased! (Tip: remove the cutout over a container. The little pieces like to jump and be free!)

Paper Rose Metal Die is wonderful. It brings dimension to your crafting projects especially using bright vibrant colours of cardstock. So beautiful. Thank you!
Cuts beautiful patterns for quilted cards. It takes a while to cut all the pieces, but the end results are stunning. Fits on an A 2 card.
Love this one. Beautiful way to use up my many scraps of paper. Received many compliments on the cards I made. Fun to work with too.
This made a beautiful card front and the pieces were easy to assemble. And it was fun to try different color combinations!
I thought its like a panel die but it came like a teeny tiny square!!! SUPER DUPER SAD AND UPSET!
