These butterflies are sooo pretty! They're made out of plastic actually (I wasn't sure when I bought them.) They are quite substantial, and make quite an impact on a page or project. These do have a mold release residue or something on them, so getting anything to stick on them (such as Dots) can be frustrating and difficult. I recommend wiping the back of them with some rubbing alcohol to clean off the residue. This will help your adhesive stick better.

The color and the way they were made is wonderful. I really like this pairing and the amethyst pairing of the two butterflies.

These are brilliant and bingy! Mine are SOLID metallic dusty sky blue, My two butterflies did not get the variated colors (lime, purple) --- Prima needs to get a better photographer, I've rated several of their items and they are NOT what they seem to be. I can use 'em anyway, they are lovely, just not the colors I needed.
Mine did not have the same colors as pictured, actually I thought they would have more bling. They are still pretty but wish this company would get the photos right.
