This black, opaque, matte ground acrylic works well as a primer for most surfaces including wood, canvas, fabric, plastic, metal and more. Gesso is water-based, but permanent and flexible after drying and works well for a variety of color products by providing a smooth, non-yellow, chalky background. One 8.5 fl. oz. jar of black Gesso is included that dries quickly, is non-toxic and is archival-safe.
