Where has this paint been all these years! Why am I just now discovering it?
The last thing I needed was more paint. I am not a painter but I love to customize my scrapbooking (embellishments, letters, papers) with the colors of my choosing. So I have a ton of paints, inks, chalks, dyes, and just about anything else you can use to color something. The metallic shine is amazing and the colors are so rich and vibrant. I have purchased colors in the green family that I never would have before and they look amazing! Needless to say, I have purchased almost every single color and am almost ready for a second jar of some colors. The paint has worked very well on every surface I've tried so far.
I absolutely love & adore the prima marketing art alchemy line of acrylic paints. My only complaint being the caps for me personally never seem to seal nicely after i initially open them. Therefore i never seem to have clean caps/threads & am always keeping eye out to make sure they are stored standing up and none stay fallen over for long. Also i am familiar and more comfortable with the paints now that i been using them for several years but when i 1st started i had difficult time using them because i was not used to painting with a paint that had a lil bit if a heavy viscous like texture. It will definitely show brush strokes depending on how heavy or not you apply your paint
This is my first time trying Prima paint and I have to say it is the best I have ever used. It's acrylic like my other craft paint, but unlike my other craft paint this does not chip off nor does it need to be varnished or sealed. Beautiful paint!
This color appears more violet in the picture. It turned out very dark, almost black on my mixed media project.
