Prima's Art Basics Gesso Sample Kit will spark your creativity and provide a taste of our fabulous basic art products. Use them to prime your mixed media projects such as: journal pages, dome decor items, tags, and collage pieces. Our White and Black Heavy Gessos can be used to correct and over mistakes while providing extra depth and a smooth, chalky surface. When used with stencils or applied with a palette knife/texture tool, the gesso adds wonderful texture and pattern to your project. Clear Gesso drive very smooth and matte, perfect for journaling on, applying to slippery surfaces for extra "tooth", and acts as a sealer for layered projects. All products are water-based, non-toxic and archival safe. Included in the kits are three 2 fl oz tubes, one clear gesso, one heavy white gesso and one heavy black gesso.
