Want to try this...have used other paste sets on chipboard embellishments like cogs & wheels. A fun technique to do. There are quite a few good uTube craft videos showing how to do the rust paste technique. Excited to try this camouflage one.

Questions & Answers
  • could these be used instead of embossing powders and heat tool? I know they are different products, but I was thinking I would like to use these for a texture paste project is that possible? thank you   By: PaperLady Lil (25-Apr-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Hi there! These are in Prima's rust family of products. I am not quite sure what effect you are going for . These pastes have a ruff grainy texture, very much like rust. The colors are nice in this set. They are intended to be blended as you do when applying a patina or rust effect but there is no reason the Colorado
S cannot be used separately. Not sure about adding heat to them or how they will react. Never hurts to do a test sample. Hope that helps! ~Robbie By: RRBrannock (26-Apr-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • I guess I needed to know how they set up, if I'm understanding you they are applied, to get a particular affect on an item, then does it dry on its own like paint? I am doing art projects with my grand-daughter on Tuesday very week, an I want to keep it interesting and different for us both. I would like to make a collage with tissue paper and texture paste and wondered if this would work on the texture paste to give it a different look? i would like to add little dimensional objects, buttons, wood cut-out, photos, or unique type of printed material as wel, applied to a 11x14 paint canvas, would the work? thank you for another answer. We are dealing with the Covid-19 restrictions as best as we can. This is how were doing it, she and i both have so much fun together, grandma and grand-daughter.
