Create beautiful pieces with the My Sweet Collection Silicone Mould designed by Frank Garcia for Prima. Included in the package is one silicone mould that measures 3.5" x 4.5". The mould includes the shapes of a pir of scissors, butterflies, flowers, and more. The mould is food safe.
I love this mould, especially the scissors. The amount of detail is truly amazing. Resin is the only medium that I think would work for the scissors. Quick-set resin requires a steady hand and slow pour. I drip the resin in mould at the top point of the scissors blades, and it fills into the small details and finger loops.

This one has old fashioned scissors. As a sewer, I love vintage sewing supplies...so this was a must have item just for the scissors alone. The Floral arrangement and the butterflies are items that I like to find for collage art pieces. The “texture button” will be used many times as filler, as a bead for jewellery compositions and more. I have only used most of these with liquid sculpy due to the thin areas. (Use toothpicks to help sculpy enter these areas and reduce bubbles all over.) The “texture button” works very well with leather effect FIMO without waiting for set-up, but Prima Molding material will need to be left to dry before un-moulding. It all depends how patient you are when making pieces to use in other work.
These molds will help reduce the cost of acquiring texture for collages, since hunting down certain shapes in the Jewellery area at the local VV boutiques can become expensive over time.
I pretty much have to use my foam molding for the scissors. I don't think the clay would fit. They came out nicely though. They are very pretty pieces.
I saw this mould with the scissors and had to get it. This is a really nice mould. Very detailed and sturdy. Love the different butterflies and the rose too.
I bought this mold to use with air dry clay. Unfortunately getting the pieces out of the mold is nearly impossible. It has excellent detail in it, but all that detail stays in the mold. I did manage to get the main bofy of the butterflies and the coin button. The scissors and rose were a mess.
