This jar of Cross My Heart Solar Paste is designed by Simon Hurley for Ranger Ink. This jar contains 1 ounce of amazing creamy paste. This paste in the jar looks white but when it hits the light, the color shines through. The color is subtle on white cardstock but intensifies when used on black cardstock with lots of shine. This Solar Paste can be tinted with Simon Hurley reinkers (sold separately). This Solar Paste can also be applied over the top of inks for colorful backgrounds that change color when tilted toward light. This paste can be applied to stencils with a palette knife for definition or it can be applied directly to the surface for a metallic paint-like finish. This paste is acid free and nontoxic. This Solar Paste is made in the USA.
I saw a video using the Solar Paste and I immediately ordered all 6 colors. They came so quickly. I immediately applied them to some backgrounds I made in anticipation of the delivery. I applied them as I saw in the video, I let them dry, then I embossed them using some 3D embossing folders from AlteNew. Wow - that is the only word I can use. I am so impressed. I wish you offered a place to upload a couple of my cards using the paste. I would love to share them.

I absolutely love these pastes. I have never used paste before but have already done some cards for later. On a holiday I send 20 cards. So Valentine's day for next year is done and so is Halloween for tis fall. I am working on a sympathy card now. I have found that using a brush is better to put the paste on the paper than the spatula in the kit.
I used "Cross my Heart" to put something on white paper and it turned green. I used the same paste on red paper and it turned pink. I have already ordered some new colors.

I was a little nervous about this product but I watched a video with Simon Hurley and tried them. They add just a little shine and shimmer to my cards. Just what I needed.

This stuff is so pretty. I'm obsessed with putting it on embossed black csrdstock. Talk about shine! If you love the lunar pastes, you need this too.

I was already in love with Lunar Paste, but Solar Paste is another level of amazing! This product is just so versatile. Solar paste is an amazing way to provide an extra pop to any project and it can be used in so many ways! I really love how it brings out the creativity in me and encourages mixed media-style creation even when assembling a simple stamped card. The solar paste itself is really easy to work with; it moves along the page similarly to lunar paste and is easy to mix and spread with most tools or even your fingers. The colours are exactly as I expected them to be and change depending on how the paste is used and on what medium it is spread, which is one of the best effects of solar paste!

Dries quickly and gives off a metallic shine. Used on a Father’s Day card and loved the look. Definitely part of my go to when making cards. Happy with them.

these solar pastes are all interference colors that change on dark surfaces and gleam a hint of sparkly pastel color onto pale substrate. You can mix with paint to get a variety of colors. Nice creamy consistency.

I wanted to try this Solar Paste, so I was able to get this color free from S.com, so we'll see. It will be a lot of fun playing with the Solar Paste. The colors that showed up in this paste looked so pretty.
Thank you S.com.
