This bundle includes one 2" x 2" raised ink pad that contains a water-reactive dye and pigment ink fusion that gives your projects an oxidized effect when sprayed with water and one coordinating 2 fl oz bottle of dye and pigment ink fusion that reacts with an oxidized effect when sprayed with water.
I have researched which ink to buy for distressing the edges of cards and sentiments. Tim Holtz Oxide Distressing Ink always came to the top of the recommendations. So I selected this Vintage Photo shade to try distressing.
I love the look. It finished off my card with an extra touch.

I really like the shading aspects, was annoyed that I had to add water to get a better coverage. Have learned they can come dried out. Having purchased from various vendors, all have been dry. Since have learned when purchasing Tim Holz inks to buy the re-inkers . I have one coming will post about them.

Can these be used on non-porous surfaces like glossy metallic papers, acetate, etc?

Hello, these inks work best on porous surfaces because they are a dye and pigment ink. A porous surface allows these pigments to soak in, on a non-porous surface they have more of a chance of wiping off.
