This jar of Midnight Snack Lunar Paste is designed by Simon Hurley for Ranger Ink and is part of the Christmas Collection. This Lunar Paste is a creamy paste with a metallic shine. This paste can be applied through stencils with a palette knife (sold separately) or it can be applied in a thin layer with your fingers for a paint-like finish. This rich blue color coordinates with the entire line of Lunar Pastes from Simon Hurley create (sold separately). This paste is water-based and can be thinned with water and brushed onto your projects. This paste can also be used with other mediums (sold separately) for one-of-a-kind looks and colors. This jar contains 2 fluid ounces of paste. This paste is made in the USA.
I didn't think I needed Lunar Paste - but then I bought one color to try... and bought more colors after that! Works just as shown in all the videos with a variety of techniques. Dries relatively quickly - which I love! This color is a dark, not-quite-navy metallic blue with a a gray undertone. Works well on white cardstock as well as light and dark colored cardstock.
I used this paste for a scary midnight sky on a Halloween card. You just need to apply a thin layer of paste. It has a striking sheen which just adds to the spookiness of the sky. This will last a long time. I plan to use a stencil next time with stars for my midnight sky. I recommend this paste highly.
