They look cool with their color coordinated tips, but immediately the brush head & metal feral came off. The bristles are not stiff enough for my liking, they feel kind of limp. I prefer Prima’s brush sets. I do like Dina Wakley products tho, so this is just my personal preferences.
I’ve owned Dina’s brushes for a couple of years and find them to be great for many uses. I’ve had no trouble with them becoming loose or bristles coming out. They are great for watercolor and mixed media and I even used the 1” brush for small areas of furniture I was painting and it worked great and cleaned up nicely. Very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend to others. Getting ready to buy her wider brushes too. Can’t wait to use those!
The brushes do have a nice spring/resistance to pressure and the red tipped brush had no shedding during use. However, the green tipped brush was broken which did not become apparent until after removal from the package. The metal feral was separated from the handle. The yellow brush isn't secure although it hasn't fallen apart yet. It was passed the 60 day return period so I can't return the item. Seems the manufacturer skimped on the glue or used an inferior glue in making these brushes.
