I stamped on whit card stock and it is barely visible. It probably would work ok as a background color, but not for the main attraction. Would recommend only for background use.

I love this new ink line from Simon Hurley. His tutorials and videos on YouTube had my attention and I was thrilled his talent and creativity were noticed by Ranger. It’s so exciting to see someone so young with such motivation to match his artistic skills.
I wasn’t surprised with fabulous colors with personal and creative names. Last week when my products arrived, I was treated to vibrant colors, crisp results on the first stamp, and I love the pads have rounded edges and no loose fibers. Love this stuff!
Thanks Simon, Ranger, and Scrapbook.com. Now on to fulfilling my “Total Set Syndrome”.

I own more inks than the paint store has color swatches and I was excited to find this unique warm yellow. For those that are familiar with Gina K's Sweet Corn ink it is very close to that, only a a hair bit brighter/ less muted. It coordinates very nicely with Hero Arts Butter Bar for layering stamps and is just a shade lighter. This isn't going to be a color you stamp sentiments with, but I don't find it's as light as another review suggested. The color on the lid is actually quite accurate.

Although the Simon Hurley colors are lovely, it is very disappointing to break open the plastic wrap and find a virtually dry pad. I understand the importance of ink refills, but I shouldn’t need to invest in one immediately to use the pad even once.
