I use the same product Tim talks of in his video, same formula as his new distress glaze. He's so right it really goes a long way, I purchased an extra container when I discovered it would no longer be made and still haven't had to open it. I find it indispensable when stamping on envelopes to be mailed, and anytime I want to seal water based ink or paint. I even use it on my professional watercolor paint projects. Although it can be used as a resist, I haven't used it for this purpose. I highly recommend this product!
Apply distress glaze to your distress oxide projects & watch every layer instantly come to the surface making it very vibrant & smooth. It seals in your projects making them waterproof. Only use a little, it goes a long way. This stuff is amazing & not just for oxides either. I sealed my pearl ex & perfect pearls projects with the glaze & it worked perfectly.
I love using this as a resist medium (Search on YouTube for Distress Glaze Resist) AND for sealing my ink smooshing when I use alcohol ink paper (smooshing with Oxides OR alcohol ink). It seals beautifully and then it makes the layers of color just magically pop. WOWWEE!!
This is excellent to put over your art work. To keep it from smudging or bleeding! Preserves your art work, especially watercolor!!
Love how this seals up my inking and offers a shine that makes my cards POP!!
wonderful product easy to use and the finished projects are outstanding.
I love all things paste, glaze name it. New to this micro glaze, I have used it in mixed media projects and it is delightful. Smooth, fast drying and boy oh boy does it take all things Tim Holtz but also gelatoes, scribble sticks to golden acrylic paint.
I will order this product again.
My order arrived quickly and the packaging was thoughtful and considerate.
After waiting for weeks for this to finally be in stock, I snapped it up! It does everything as advertised ... ! How did I ever survive before I found this ... ! : )
This is my first time using micro glaze. But if you use distress inks this is great. Goes on easily and you only need a tiny bit it goes a long way.
