The Distress Crayon product line is fabulous! Smooth and creamy with great blendability. Great for creating backgrounds, equally great for coloring stamped images...they react wonderfully with water. The colors are beautiful! Would recommend the Distress Crayon line for anyone interested in water coloring.
I recently took a class on using the Tim Holtz Distress Crayons. They are so fun and easy to use. I enjoy using them with water for skies and other backgrounds. They are also a reasonably inexpensive medium to get into getting a few at a time.

I have only ever used Tim's crayons, so I cannot compare these to other crayons out there but i do love that you can wind up the pigment. and they are so nice to hold. I have the storage tin and its perfect to dig through.
The colors are very rich and the crayons are easy to use. I like that they can be used to color an area or watered down with a water brush for a more opaque look.
I really love these crayons, they're so much fun to play/create with. I like how easily watercolor-type effects can be achieved with this product. :)
