The package includes one 2" x 2" raised ink pad by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink. The ink is a combination of water-reactive dye and pigment ink that creates an oxidized effect when sprayed with water. Anyone who knows how Distress Oxides work understands that the color on the lid is not the full story. Beautiful color for spring and Halloween backgrounds (if you're into mummies oozing) and so neutral as to work with most colors. I think these work best on watercolor paper but I've heard recently that Bristol papers are even better. I'll be working with that. Buy all the colors, even if it takes you some time. You will use them all and you won't be disappointed.
