I bought Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon together because their lids looked like they’d be significantly different. They are not. The difference is imperceptible.

Like any ink pad, occasionally these mini Distress pads aren't as juicy as I'd prefer, but I haven't found a link between a particular color and potential dryness. This is a cartoonish sky blue and probably the truest plain old blue blue in the line. Not as dark as Faded Jeans but more vibrant than Broken China.
I needed this color for flowers I'm making for a wedding card. It is a great color. Love Tim Holtz products.
