This set of three Distress Mica Stains, set Four, is designed by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink and is part of the Halloween Collection. This set contains the colors Fortune Teller, Wicked Elixir, and Decayed. These mica stains add a colorful, pearlescent shimmer to all your mixed media and paper crafting projects. These mica stains adhere to paper, wood, fabric, canvas, and other porous surfaces. These mica stains can be used with Distress Inks, Oxides, spray stains, and oxide sprays (sold separately) to create colorful, luminous effects. Each bottle contains 1 fluid ounce of product with a sprayer on the top of the bottle. These mica stains are made in the USA.
Wow! Well worth the buy. Product gives your art just the right amount of sheen without being too glittery. Used on a set of die cut leaves and they turned out beautiful. Lots of potential. Can't wait to try more.
Description : says set of four. But it’s a typo. Set of three.
Love using the sprays!!!
Like I said about set three I can't get enough and it should come in gallon containers. I do many Halloween vinettes and this stuff makes for great backgrounds on yupo or water color paper.
I find Ranger products to be of consistently high quality. Which makes them easy to use. I like to use these spray stains in mixed media art. Spraying through stencils is a favorite.
These amazing Mica Stains make every project just shine!!! The colors are wonderful and not just for Halloween--they can be used year around for sure! I loved the ones he released last year...and love these even more!!!
This is my first year using mica stains, and these holiday stains are really beautiful! I stocked up, since these particular colors won't be back until 2024 again, since they are alternating the sets 1 & 2 with 3 & 4. Great product from Ranger and Tim Holtz! Just wish I could have them available all the time. Now I can hardly wait to get sets 1 & 2 next year!
Used in this project: 2022 Card #26 - Tim Holtz "Myron" Birthday Card
These colors are so gorgeous, especially the purple! Love adding these sprays to my mixed media backgrounds, paper flowers and more. Highly recommend to anyone who loves a little shimmery goodness in their projects!
Used in this project: Rainbow of Distress Backgrounds
These are just magical - and what a game changer! Be sure to watch Tim Holtz video over on you tube for this product you'll learn a ton!
I had to get Distress Mica Stain Set four for journaling projects.
