Easily add a brown distressed look to your mixed media or paper craft projects with the Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Oxides Spray by Ranger Ink. There is one 2 fl oz bottle of a dye and pigment ink fusion Distress Oxide Spray that creates an oxidized look when sprayed with water. Made in the USA.
I love Tim Holtz products and I use a lot of oxide inks. This wasn't what I needed. I had not used oxide spray before and expected this dark walnut to add rustic texture to my papers. But it dries to a soft whiteish-tan so it fades to the oxidation immediately and does not leave the deep brown speckles I thought I would get. Apparently I should have gotten a different product.
Love this spray. It has so many uses. It has a hint of bluegreen, which looks like a patina. I used it to spray photo corners and hole reinforcements which I used in a travel notebook/journal. Be careful of overspray!
These Sprays from TH are my favorite. They are beautiful and so versatile. I will continue to purchase many.
