I like Wendy Vecchi and have seen her in product videos, so I thought I'd try out her ink. Sadly, this ink pad is useless to me, even though it was sealed in a plastic wrapper. Once opened, almost nothing happened when put to paper! When I turned the pad for a side view, obviously about 1/64 of an inch had some ink absorption because it was dark, but that thin top layer in the depth of the pad was not enough to stamp with. The entire rest of the pad all the way down to the bottom, was chalky, stiff and extremely dry to the touch. Even pressing my finger to the pad, very little if any color transferred. Just a waste of money and if I could, I would give the review a zero-star rating. I'm annoyed and disappointed because I really try to support female artists and crafty-women entrepreneurs.
