I wasn't sure how I felt about this die. Well, after making two cards with it.....I LOVE IT!! It's a great way to quickly pop out a card for a quick note of thanks or plain, hello. Change the colors, new card. After making two cards, this is easily now my favorite go to fast card.
This die was added to my cart because it was a free gift, and I love it! Perfectly sized with the frame for your A2 cards, and easily adapted to remove the frame and use just the "hi". Cuts clean and although simple it makes a big impact.
I like this "hi" die as it covers a card and can be coordinated with everything. You can also cut out the "hi" part and use it alone. Or just use the frame piece. Cuts well.
I'm not a card maker so I intend to use this die for paper frames for scrapbook pages. The large 'hi' will come in handy too. I love scrapbook.com freebies!
I like this cover-plate die. It's BIG, but it would cover the front of an A-2 size card, which is what I usually make, so I'm very happy with the die. Its cutting size is exactly 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" in size. The margin around this die could be cut back a little if I should want to show another color, or a white margin in back of the die. The word, "hi," could also be cut away from the frame, so the frame and the word could be cut from two colors of card stock.

I had no idea how fun and easy a cover plate could be. I cut this from adhesive-backed cardstock and layer over a calendar scene - easy-peasy for a card that's versatile for almost any occasion. I taught this fast and dirty card at my club and now my stampers are ordering their own "Hi" plates!
Even though this die was free with my purchase, I couldn't have been happier with it. It cuts beautifully and is helping me crank out cards like crazy--plus use up a lot of my older patterned paper as backdrops. It is not just another die--it is a necessity! Love it!!
If you want to make a quick card this is a great die to use. I cut it out in white cardstock and layered it on one of my Distress Oxide backgrounds. Then I layered them on a white cardstock base.

I love this die! It's perfect for A2 cards! I love how easy it is to attach to card base. This die has already completed a few cards since I got it!
I would definitely get this die again just to have a backup one!
Using this Die leaves very little left to do. It fills the entire A2 card base. Just add a little bow or dots, etc., and it's done. Cute! I would recommend that you purchase this die. It's for a "quick-fix" card.
