You have unlimited creative possibilities with the 12" x 12" Thin Chipboard Pack. It's perfect bookmaking. You can create a vintage, stained and aged altered book. You can also these sheets with your die cutting machine to make chipboard shapes and custom embellishments! This pack comes with 20 thin sheets of chipboard. Each sheet measures approximately 12" x 12".
I bought this chipboard by reading a review that this works wtih the Cricut. It doesn't work all that great with the Cricut using the deep cut blade setting low, pressure high, blade depth 6, setting on multicut. Although it will cut through this chipboard for some designs most times the blade and housing will skip and jump over the chipboard creating an undesireable effect. It took a full sheet of chipboard to get one good diecut.
I read in a thread that you can put your deep cut blade in the regular green housing. So I tried it and it worked. I then tried to cut the chipboard I bought from scrapbook.com which
it did work!!
Here is how I cut the chipboard from scrapbook.com:
Speed: Medium
Pressure: Max
Blade Setting: 6
Blade: Deep cut blade put into the regular green housing.
Multi cut: 8 times
How did I multi cut 8 times you ask?
1. I went to settings pressed ok button until I got to multi cut menu
2. used arrow keys to chose multi cut to 4 times
3. then pressed settings again to exit.
---------------
To cut this chipboard try the following:
1. Chose my image
2. Press cut: It will multi cut 4 times.
3. Then press load paper: The paper will reload to starting position.
4. Press load last: Your last image will reload.
5. Press cut again: It will multi cut 4 more times.
6. Don't forget to remove you deep cut blade from green housing and put in your regular blade in the green housing.
It does work well with the zutter bind-it-all for making your own chipboard albums.
I bought these 12 x 12 thin chipboard to make five identical albums. They are the PERFECT thickness for this. Since adding paper on both sides plus embelishments, your final product does not look like a toddlers storybook,(referring to those super thick pages of the storybooks)on the contrary, the final product ends as elegant and beautiful as you expect, even with everything you add. I am super Happy and Pleased with it.
I love that we carry bulk chipboard at Scrapbook.com. I've made album covers from this chipboard and even cards.
FYI: This chipboard, like most chipboard, is not acid-free.

Along with scrapbooking and card making I make decorations for convention dinners. For Christmas I got a new big shot and one of the new sizzixZ die cutsd(the tea cup). It cut the chipboard like a dream. Everyone at my stamping club wants me to order more chipboard so they can make their own 3d tea cup.
Now I'm ready to try it with my cricket.
I bought this item after searching all over the place for chipboard I could cut with my Cricut. This stuff is great! I will keep ordering it for sure. The only problem I have is the deep cut blade for Cricut is not reliable, but this chipboard is wonderful.
This chipboard is perfect for making album covers. It is easy to cut, easy to work with, when needing to score and bend. I think most will appreciate it. Hope I've helped.
Just the right weight for mini albums. Easy to cut with my paper cutter and the price was good.
I ordered this chipboard to make 6x6 mini books. I am very pleased with the quality of the chipboard. It is neither heavy nor bulky and is easy to cover. The only drawback (and it's not a big one) is that it's hard to get a really good clean cut with just a regular lightweight paper cutter. A stronger more heavy duty paper cutter works great. I will definitely order this product again.
I was so thrilled to see cb.com had these in bulk. I use them to make my collage projects. I can cut them with my scissors & perfect thickness for what I am doing.
