Tips From The Manufacturer:
Compatibility: Works with most types of thin metal dies and embossing folders. Works with various paper products, fabrics, chipboard, and other lightweight wood products (all products sold separately). This machine is compatible in the US and Canada only.

Instructions: There is a User Guide included in the box and this is filled with all the ways to use the machine, the different sandwiches needed for the die types, embossing folders, and more. Please refer to this guide for all details on use.

This is a step up from the original Gemini in that it is faster, quieter, and smoother. I love it. However, it does not do full plate cuts. It does not cut about 1" on the sides, so you have a 7" wide surface, not 9". The original one was the same, so I'm not surprised. However, they shouldn't advertise something that isn't true. For that, I'm disappointed. Even still, it's a great machine. I'm thrilled I have it.

This is the quietest cutting machine I have ever heard. Still about the same size as original Gemini. Still can put in Jr plates just tun them. My only complaint is that they advertise it with the turny thingy (lazy Susan) in all the videos BUT ITS NOT INCLUDED. I did not realize this and now they are sold out. Plus I hate to have to pay additional shipping to get it. Otherwise AWESOME machine.

I am so thrilled with my machine. It works wonderfully. I am disappointed in one thing. When ordering the machine, I neglected to notice that it was in US currency. So I thought I was paying $400.00 where as I ended up paying $600.00. Regardless of the cost, I just love my machine.
I previously had a Geminii junior and upgraded to the new Gemini ll. The machine is so much quieter and seems to cut everything really well. I like the fact that you can use the big plates or the small plates with this machine. The attachment to make it swivel is a nice plus.

I finally got a Gemini II machine from Crafter’s Companion. It was worth waiting for! This machine leads the list of die cutting machines from its clever hidden stora*e spaces to its USB outlets on the back. If you are looking for ease of use combined with a clean crisp die cut every time then this is the machine for you! I will be happily using this machine to make all my cards. And the arthritis in my hands will thank me!

Was very excited to try out the electric machine but after just a few tries the plates warped real bad. I had gone on different sites to try different sandwiches but since the plates warped it is really hard to place dies in without them moving all around

I had problems with the plates…i made my sandwiches according to the manuel and it tore the mats up. I used a 3-d embossing folder and it cut the rubber mat almost in two, it has a huge hole in it.mand the metal plate after one pass is deeply cut and warped. I am not new to the electronic cutting machines. i have contacted tge manufactures and I am working on getting them to send me new plates. If they do nit send new plates I will be sending my whole machine back. Thankyou, Sherry C.

Does it use any any type of cardstock for making cards
You can use any waffer-thin dies from any company in machine & the dies don't wear-out ! You can use any Cardstock or paper in machine ! I own almost every die cutting machine ever made & by far this is the very best machine & will cut the most intricate dies with ease. It has a lot of space for real large dies up to 8 1/2 x 11... or you can cut many smaller dies at same time in 1 pass. You won't be disappointed !

Hello! The life of the Gemini plates (both the Gemini II and Gemini Jr.) varies depending on how often you use them and what you use them for (die cutting vs. embossing). I hope this helps!

Hello, yes the Gemini FoilPress has been designed to work exclusively with the Gemini Brand Die-Cutting and Embossing Machines. It is not compatible with the Gemini Go.

Hello. The Geminii foil plates would need to be used with the Gemini foil press system. But the Gemini foil press system will work in conjunction with the Gemini II. You just won't be able to use the foil plates without the Gemini foil press system.
