Reinkers are an inexpensive way to extend the life of your Scrapbook.com Premium Hybrid Ink Pads. To use, simply shake the bottle, squeeze a few drops on the ink pad surface and work the ink evenly into the pad with the bottle nozzle. It’s that easy! Now your Scrapbook.com ink pad is rejuvenated and ready for more creative projects.
But don’t limit the reinker to just extending the life of your ink pad - it has many other creative uses as well! Here are some fun ideas of what else you can use them for:
What is the difference between dye, pigment and hybrid ink?
Dye inks are water-based and literally dye your paper. The ink is soaked up by the paper or cardstock so they tend to dry fast. Pigment inks are made of tiny particles that will sit on top of your paper and will take a longer time to dry. They tend to be brighter, with a denser saturation of color and work well with dark colors of cardstock. They are also great for heat embossing since they stay wet longer. Hybrid inks are the best of the two ink types (dye and pigment) as they have properties of both inks. They also tend to be more translucent in their appearance. Hybrid inks are suitable for all skill levels of crafters due to their compatibility with multiple mediums and surfaces.
What are color families?
The Scrapbook.com Hybrid Inks are designed in color families. Each color family has four individual colors numbered 1 through 4 (1 being the lightest shade in the group and 4 being the darkest shade of the group). Color families are an extremely important aspect of layered stamping because each of the four colors coordinates together to achieve a dimensional, layered look. Every Hybrid Ink Pad has the color family name and the color family number clearly labeled on the lid along with the name of the ink pad and the ink shade. NOTE: The 1 color for some color families is designed to be an incredibly light whisper of a shade for that group.

I splurged and got the whole set! So glad I did. Love the colour saturation and the ease it gives at layering. Watched a few of your videos and got a great idea, made colour swatches of all my inks. Makes it super easy to play and match with colours not in the same grouping. I recommend these inks to everyone. The hybrid inks fit into a space in my inking and colouring process I did not even know I had!

These inks are completely on par with any other high-quality inks out there. They stamp crisply and beautifully, and the color layering system is fantastic. Highly recommend them!

These ink pads have become a new favorite of mine. I love that each ink pad has its own specific color family. There are four of each color family and the best part is they are numbered for you. Perfect for those buildable stamps from Altenew and hero arts. I also love that they are Hybrid so they don’t move with water. I do have a little trick for those who found the bottom part of the ink pad to thin to hold up and ink your stamps. If you add the lid to the bottom it will make it thick enough for you to hold up and ink your stamps.
Totally recommend them especially for buildable Stamp lovers and cards makers.

IAt first I was very disappointed with these stamp pads.
When I stamped a solid image of a deer after making the background, the deer showed the pattern of the stamp pad. I tried it several different times but it looked awful and ruined My card. I was really surprised because I loved the way I'd seen them used to do layering for flowers in a video. I am however, very pleased with Scrapbooking. Com as I wrote Them about the problem and They're allowing Me to return them. Well, I saw a video about New Stamps having a film on them and that if you rough up the stamp, it will take the color better. I did this to the Deer I mentioned above and I was so happy it worked and I'm keeping the Ink Pads!
I love this Site for Card making supplies and the prices are very competitive, and the shipping is fast. I'll definitely continue to buy here. 5 stars to Service too!! Thanks so much!
