I couldn’t wait to get this. I’ve never had a placing tool, and I saw Jamie Pate using this one in one of her videos. Was not in stock and I was chomping at the bit to get it. And it was definitely worth the wait. I’m always reaching for it. Contemplating buying a second one for when I can’t find this one on my desk. Lol..
This tool is a lifesaver when you have tiny pieces to add to your project. The wax end is perfect for picking up those tiny pieces. Turn it over and you have the pick for getting those small pieces out of our dies. So glad I ordered this. So versatile.
Getting rid of a fist full of tools and replacing with this!
I did have some trouble getting the ends off the first time, but once taken on & off a time or two they come off easily.
I have been using this tool frequently to poke out those die bits that won't pop out and it is very good for that. When I first received this tool,, I reached to pick up a paper piece and the wax end broke off. I contacted Scrapbook.com and they sent me a replacement end pronto. (Great customer service!!) Very easy to replace the end, and it does pick up sequins well..
I bought this mostly for the wax tip to pick up sequins, etc. It works like a dream, easily picking up the tiny sequins and allowing placement on the card. The picker also works well for taking off the backs of adhesives. This tool has been really helpful in my crafting.
Everyday that goes by, I love this tool more. I have (had) a similar tool but the poke-y end and scraper-like tools were plastic and quickly either broke off or stopped doing what it was supposed to do. That, and the putty stuff ran out and I couldn’t figure out how to get replacement brand putty and it goes on and on. This tool has everything. in a nice slip design. The poke-y ends are metal (be careful!) and the scraper-end is a thick plastic that will probably take a lot of effort to damage. What I really love is the wax end (and replacement wax tips are available for a song - I bought 3 just in case). Because my craft space is kind of cold, I found that it I cup the wax end in my hand for a half a minute, it picks stuff up better. And with the wax tip being a generous size, I can diamond paint for hours without having to stop and add more wax like I do with the tool that came with my kit. WTG, Scrapbook.com!
This tool is a must have in your stash. When I received in the mail, I couldn't wait to use it. It came in handy when I started my card makin and it worked really well. I loved the different ends that it has. I love the versitillity it has to be able to change ends in what is needed. It feels good in the hand and I love the slight bulk when having it in my hand.
I am really pleased with the pick pro tool. It is larger than I expected and great quality. I like the versatility of the four different, interchangeable tool tips. It will be interesting to see if, in time, they release any additional tools that could be used with this base.
I really didn't know that Scrapbook.Com had a muti- purpose pick tool, that is simple to use for all that is needed in your cardmaking projects. I also brought another wax tip as well. This tool works great, and again at a great price.
