I waited forever for these butterflies to become available. I ordered them as soon as I got the notification they were in. When I got them & used them, I was very disappointed to learn that the background butterfly is larger than the overlay, so that the edges don't line up. I don't think I would have ordered them knowing that because I don't like the way that looks. There weren't pictures of the actual product up when I ordered them, so I didn't see the size difference. If I use them at all, I probably won't layer them, but use the overlay by itself.
I just received these does and have already used them to make a dozen cards. They make great focal points and feel substantial while still allowing white space. The detailed layer is intricate. I recommend using a metal shim.
This set of butterfly dies will come in so handy for both scrapbooking (Spring layouts?) and cardmaking. Diecutting the delicate and solid pieces in different colors and/or materials, like vellum, really shows them off.
The butterflies are so pretty and delicate and I like that there are shadow dies to go with them. I'm thinking they would look beautiful cut in glitter paper, the butterflies in glitter and the shadow dies would peek through the lacy openings in the butterfly dies, or vice-versa. I love butterflies and am so happy with this die set.
this is one of the best butterfly sets I've seen to date, absolutely love the delicate designs and can create with or without the shadow dies but goes great together to make a cool 2-depth design. Thank you for this great product

I am so happy that I jumped on this bundle deal during the Live event! I have already made a couple of cute cards using a few different dies from this bundled. I have the Sizzix Big Shot, I was under the impression from the description that the largest butterfly would fit in my machine. Sadly, its slightly too wide. I had fun plans for that one but I am still happy. I will just put that one aside and I have a feeling I will upgrade my Sizzix eventually and I will make sure to get a larger machine lol. I highly recommend this bundle or even just the individual sets that are in the bundle. They are ALL excellent. I especially love the set of three with the cut out butterflies and the matching solids. I am new to card crafting and in the live she made some using vellum I plan to use that idea today. If you love butterflies as much as I do I promise you will love these.

I love that I can do so much with these dies!!!!! I can make cards, make home decor, make scrapbook pages and so much more!!!!! I am so glad I got them, and the price was incredible!!!!!!

What die cutting machine will cut the largest butterfly die?

Hello, the largest butterfly can be cut in any machine with at least a an 8" opening such as the Big Shot Plus.
