Unfortunately the first tweezers in my order did not work. The tips did not meet, thus nothing could be picked up. Just received the replacement tweezers and they work fine. Thank you to Scrapbook.com for being so customer-oriented and making it right by replacing the first pair.
These fine-tip craft tweezers will be out on my craft area all the time for quick/easy access.
I would like the tweezers, but their grip is not tight enough. I've found they do not hold an A2 panel securely enough to do heat embossing and the paper slips and can fall out. Right now, they are able to grip the stubby end pieces of my expensive (and authentic) sealing wax, so they do have a purpose in my space.
I have an essential tremor in my left, non-dominant hand. These tweezers are so helpful when I need to hold small items such as dies in my left hand. They provide stability when my hand can’t do it alone. The fact that they grasp an object even if I drop them is such a help so I don’t lose things. They are of course, helpful in a general way to. Some tiny pieces are hard to place even without neurological problems!
I got these as a back up to my EK Sucess pair since they were on sale. They are ok, the grip is not as strong as EK Success craft tweezers.
I like these tweezers. The reverse grip is much easier to work with, as I don't have to keep pressure on the tweezers to keep ahold of the piece I'm working with. :D
I went a long time without craft tweezers, and frankly don't know how I did it. I love these. Of course I am a fan of the black. But then they simply work perfectly every time for any 'tweezing' my paper craft project may need.

I really love these ergonomic tweezers! I'm getting older and my hands shake a lot so these really help with my crafting.
I was disappointed. I never had reverse grip tweezers before, but I watched a video and someone was using them, and I thought they might be really nice to have. It could have been I was not using them on the right type of thing, but I bought them to pick up self adhesive small sparkly jewels for cardmaking decorating, and they didn’t work at all. They did not grip well. Maybe I just need to find the right things to use it for, but I was a bit disappointed. I just purchased these not even a week ago. I’m not giving up on it yet.
I have had one for yrs but wanted another for keeping one in crop luggage. Now that I’m going to crops occasionally, I prefer to not pack everything but leave a few essentials in my bags!
I love how the tweezer action is strong enough to not accidently open when I forget they're reverse tweezers. I can't tell you how many times I've accidently opened them while trying to apply glue to my ephemera... and sometimes I'd forget that they aren't regular tweezer and accidently squeeze them open.
These are just strong enough to prevent accidental release of your paper or ephemera. Also, the point of the tweezers are tight, so there's no accidental slippage of papers you're holding between the points. I don't know why I waited so long to get these!

Should the tip of these tweezers be closed or should they be slightly open?

i believe that they do. i've only used them a few times, but they seem to not collect glue on them. this pair is replacing a very old pair i've had for years.
