This package of two Cutting Plates Extended (C) is from Spellbinders. These plates are designed to be used with the Spellbinders Platinum regular and Platinum 6 die cutting machines (sold separately). These plates can be used to die cut thin metal cutting dies and steel rule dies, and embossing folders from Spellbinders and other companies (sold separately). These plates measure 9.625" x 6.0625" and have beveled edges to make feeding them through the machine easier. These pates are made from high quality polycarbonate material.
Having more layers greatly improves the ability to use assets from various sources; it is also great to have the extra length. It is now a pleasure to use 3D embossing folders rather than the frustration it used to be.
Perfect for longer dies especially the slimline card dies. Spellbinders products are never a disappointment. So pleased to have found these.
So happy they came out with a longer plate. Now I don’t have to reposition my dies and papers on the plates just so I could cut the other end which most of the time would end up in disappointing results. With these, I just need to turn the long plate sandwich while keeping my stuff inside intact and stable. Are there extended platforms too? That would be perfect if they have this. No more sandwich rotating. The only con I noticed with these plates is that it doesn’t go back to its flat position after warping into a concave shape from multiple uses. Even when I use ithe opposite side so it can be pushed back to its flat position. But… I’m still happy since it has more pros than cons.
