This four piece Stitched Hi etched metal die set is part of the Just Wanted To Say Collection from Spellbinders. This die set features the word hi with dots which act as a guide for stitching the patterns with embroidery floss and a needle (sold separately) or the word can be used without embroidering it. This set also includes the shadow of the word hi. These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). These dies can be used for cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journals, planners, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects. The hi outline measures 3.9" x 3.1", the dot for the letter i measures 0.68" x 0.57". If you chose to embroider this word, it is recommended you use two strands of six strand DMC floss or DMC Diamant Metallic Thread and a size 22 tapestry needle (sold separately).
I cut this die out three times and stacked it to give it strength before stitching. It came out beautifully stitched and on it for my niece's birthday card. the font is perfect for the card . It is a wonderful die as it also has an outline so you can make a different card without the stitching. Very versatile.
