Questions & Answers
  • Im looking for colored cardstock for hot foiling. Is brushed cardstock suitable? I already have some great black cardstock for hot foiling but Ive seen all the delicious Spellbiners brushed cardstock colors so Ive been wondering.   By: Ilinna (11-Oct-23) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Hello,
Smooth, uncoated paper usually works best for foil printing, however if you prefer coated paper a matte or silk finish is okay too. The color of the paper can make a difference to your foil printing too. A lighter color paper stock will work well with darker foil colors, whereas a darker color paper stock will work better with a lighter foil color.
