Add the texture of your favorite cozy sweater to your paper crafts with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder by Sunny Studio Stamps. The package includes one embossing folder that measures 6" x 6" and can be used with most die cutting machines (sold separately). The folder is designed to work with a single sheet of cardstock.
This folder gives a deep, beautiful knit stitch effect. You can ink the folder for a more defined, colorful look. I also used this folder with ink on felt. The result was a crisp, effective knit-print on the felt without embossing. It is a deep emboss effect. Misting some papers and letting the paper absorb the moisture prior to embossing can create a deeper embossing and prevent cracking. This folder is going to be great for my mitten gift boxes!
I've been looking for this for a while now and finally got it and am thrilled with how it looks when embossed! Will definitely be using it this fall and winter for holiday cards. Brushing some color on in the crevices also creates an even more realistic look of a fuzzy sweater. It works great and it a good background for many of my cool/cold weather character stamps!
I liked this folder so much, that I didn't realize it was exactly the same as another brand I already own. I really hate it when a company has produced something identical to another, but it is too hard to tell on line.

Add 2 or 3 small gems for buttons and you're all set!
