These may seem little, but don't let their innocent look fool you. If you are at all intimidated by inking your projects and giving them a distressed look, you really need to get these! If you don't like the mess that comes with using ink...then you need to get these. If you want more control over inking your projects...then you need to get these. The sponge daubers fit nicely (not too snug) over your pointer finger. You rub it in the ink or chalk of your choice and use your finger to simply brush it onto the edges of your project. You can add so much more depth and demension when you have precise control over your ink. I really love the somewhat "smokey" look you can achieve with your ink. If you press hard...you get a softer, blended look. If you press lightly and quickly, you get a more defined, inked look. Another thought...these are great for making dots on your pages as well. And they are cheap enough for you to buy one for each color ink you have. They also clean up well. I use the double scrubber with mine and although they stay stained with ink/chalk...if you clean it you can totally use it with a different color. I love these and can't believe that it took me so long to try them!
These little daubers are fabulous. I have found that these little guys are the easiest way to ink projects. They slip right over your finger and you can slide them right along your paper or whatever you wish to do with them and they help bring a nice colour texture to whatever you're working on. I also like using them for chalking large areas - easier than the little poms to complete. When I'm done I rinse them off and put them in the case that you can also get here in the superstore. I have labeled each one with whichever ink colour I have used and keep them alphabetically in the case (I like to be SUPER organized). Again, a great little product to have around.
I love these little things and I can't wait to own enough for every color! I'm buying a few at a time to build up my collection. So far I've only tried these with chalks and I loved them. Up until now I didn't use chalk much because I didn't know how to get it to look nice. These are so easy to use and the color goes on so nicely. All you do is smudge it a little with your finger after you dab it with the sponge. The cylinders are hollow so you can stick your finger in it and control it easily.
These are great. If you rubber stamping, or even working with inks you will find enless ways to used these little guys. They are wonderful for stencils, but I also found that they are great for distressing. You can vary the looks by adding or taking away pressure when you use them. An added bonus is super cute polka dot paper. Just press them straight down on the ink pads of your choice and dab on the paper and you will get perfect polka dots every time!
I RECENTLY USED THIS PRODUCT WITH CHALK TO GIVE MY PAGE A MORE AGED LOOK TO IT.....PERFECT!!! IT DIDN'T SMUDGE THE LETTERING OR ANYTHING!
These things work great... The ease of blending and aging scrapbook pages are easy. And they clean up great.
I couldn't manage without these little daubers. It is just a shame that they are not recyclable.
I have several of this for different colors of ink. I love them!!!
these are so handy and sturdy, unlike ones i have tried in the past. perfect for inking around the edge of paper.
