Ok so the price For this is really good. It’s easy to put together however it is made out of cardboard. So I decided to have mine laminated at Staples. What a big improvement. I can just wipe the paint splatters off now and it’s brand new. Will last forever now I bet.
When I first saw this I thought "for heavens sake, I'm not pay 4.95 for a cut down cardboard box." I've been using an old cardboard box for this for years! Then I borrowed my sisters when I was at her place one day and we were crafting together and I thought - "this is sooo convenient! I can just fold it up and take it with me or slip it into my paper case when I'm not using it". So I bought one and I haven't regretted.
So common, it costs less than a cup of coffee, buy one, you won't regret it.
If you're doing any kind of mixed media or even if you're just making cards but want to splatter ink onto your card etc. you need one of these. I've been making do with a makeshift box but this is just so much better because of the shape it is and the angled sides.
If you are a neat crafter, you need 1 -- cause you know you gotta use those perfect pearl splatters OR to mist your oxides... BUT if you are a messy crafter, you need AT LEAST 3 OR 4 -- raise your hand if youre guilty! Im glad they brought these back! They were made many years ago Smooch (?). GREAT PRODUCT, MUUUUUUUST HAVE!!!
I am teaching classes and using spray inks and taught that with children I would need to have the Splat Box. I have made them in the past but time consuming, rather have fun with children and teach them the sheer joy of splatter and spraying.
I have used a regular box in the past to keep the mess together but it is nice being able to do a horizontal spray. Plus it is perfect for taking pictures of my cards (for now until it get's too dirty)
Never thought I would purchase something like this but I am glad that I did. From my use, I can see what would happen without this tool. Paint would be everywhere. PS: I also recommend an apron or old clothes when using!
Everything was fine with the shipment - although the box was smaller than I had anticipated. I have not used the stencil nor the embossing folder but I hope to do so shortly.
These Splat Boxes are terrific for small items you want to spray with things like paint or distress sprays. Keeps your area clean and takes up very little space.
This Splat box will keep spray messes to a minimum! So happy it's foldable which I need for my small craft area.

How exactly does it fold down? Is there a video showing it being taken down and set-up again?
