Cut down on wasted fabric and frustration by using this Sizzix Half-Hexagon Bigz XL Quilting Die. You won't have to measure your fabric to get a perfectly cut shape. Instead, just run your die and your material through a BIGkick, Big Shot or Vagabond machine with a set of Extended Cutting Pads (all items sold separately). Your half-hexagon shape will be cut perfectly every time. This Bigz XL die is 6" x 13 3/4". It will cut a wide variety of materials, including fabric, leather and chipboard. Please note that your material (not included) will need to measure 6" x 12". When assembled (two half-hexagons sewn together), your shape will measure 10" x 4 3/8", with each side measuring 5".

    Sizzix dies are best

    This cuts down on cutting hundreds of pieces by 90% of time and 100% accuracy. If you're a quilter and want accurate piecing results you MUST have accuracy and that is why these long dies are amazing, you can layer up to 8 layers of fabric and cut PERFECT pieces in a single pass. All that is left is to keep your sewing steady because you're not going to have to worry about pulling and pushing bits and pieces together to get points to meet!!!!

    Hi, I would like to make a quilt using the half hexie and a pack of 10" squares. Would this die work?       Yes, it works great! Fold fabric in half.
      Place on die long side to ziz-zag and short side to fold.
      Roll and its two 5" X 10" half hexis
